‘Antlers’ Gets A New Creepy Poster And An R-Rating

The creepy new poster is here for director Scott Cooper‘s frightening film Antlers (above).

The film’s has now been confirmed as rated “R” for “violence, including gruesome images and for language.”

From producer Guillermo del Toro. In the trailer we see a teacher (Keri Russell) looking absolutely terrified, a town in the clutches of fear, and a young boy (Jeremy Thomas) somehow connected to a mysterious monster lurking in the shadows.

Acclaimed director Scott Cooper (Maze Runner: Death Cure) brings the dark world where legend meets reality.  Set in an Oregon village, the film also stars as Jesse Plemons, who is investigating the little boy’s secret. Graham Green, Amy Madigan, Scott Haze, and Rory Cochrane also star.

Nick Antosca (“The Act”, “Channel Zero”) and C. Henry Chaisson penned the script which is based on Antosca’s short story titled “The Quiet Boy.”

Fox Searchlight will unleash Antlers in theaters on April 17, 2020.
