Sawyer Spielberg, son of legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg, is making his acting debut in director Devereux Milburn‘s genre film Honeydew.
Malin Barr and Barbata Kingsley also star in the film described as “a feverish horror film,” produced by Dan Kennedy and Alan Pierson.
In Honeydew, “strange cravings and hallucinations befall a young couple after seeking shelter in the home of an aging farmer and her peculiar son.”
Yellow Veil Pictures has acquired the sales rights to Honeydew with the film set to sell at this month’s European Film Market, THR reports.
We are thrilled to introduce Devereux Milburn’s vision to the market at this year’s EFM. With shades of De Palma’s frenetic editing and sound design brought into a modern context, Honeydew immerses you in a nightmare that is sure to satisfy all cravings for a fresh, stylish backwoods horror.” Justin Timms, Yellow Veil Pictures’ Co-Founder said in a statement.
