Nearly twenty years after its release, Alejandro Amenábar’s haunting film The Others is getting a reboot with a contemporary twist, according to Deadline.
Released back in 2001, the original supernatural film centers on Grace (Nicole Kidman), a mother of two struggling to take care of her children while waiting for her husband to return for fighting in WWII. After the arrival of three servants, Grace’s world begins to fall apart as terrible secrets begin to surface.
Sentient Entertainment is producing the film and plan to “reinvent and modernize” the terrifying classic.
