The filmmaking team behind the Sundance hit The Night House are teaming up again for the “re-imagining” of the 1980s horror classic Hellraiser. David Bruckner will be directing from the script written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, for Spyglass.
The 1987 original Hellraiser was written and directed by Clive Barker based on his own novella, The Hellbound Heart. The original introduced us to the puzzle box that opens a gateway to a horrific world as well as unleashes the terrifying beings known as the Cenobites, led by Pinhead.
