Ghostbusters: Afterlife Delayed Until 2021

The Corona pandemic has been causing chaos with the filming industry. One of the many films affected is Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Originally set to open in theaters this July, it has now been delayed until 2021.

From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the Ghostbusters universe.

In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

Paul Rudd (Antman) stars alongside Mckenna Grace (Captain Marvel), Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things), Carrie Coon (Gone Girl). The cast of the original, Sigourney WeaverBill Murray, and Dan Aykroyd are returning for the film written by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife opens in theaters on March 5, 2021.
