David Arquette Returning For New ‘Scream’

Scream is one of the horror genre’s largest and most popular franchises, featuring four films and a TV series.  Now, a new addition is coming.

Today, we have some casting news. Spyglass Media announced yesterday the David Arquette is returning to reprise his role of office Dewey.

 

I am thrilled to be playing Dewey again and to reunite with my Scream family, old and new.” Arquette said, “Scream has been such a big part of my life, and for both the fans and myself. I look forward to honoring Wes Craven’s legacy. 

 

Matt Bettineelli-Olpin (“The Daily Show”) and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) of Radio Silence will be directing from the script written by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Ready or Not‘s Guy Busick.
