Earlier this month we reported that Sam Raimi handpicked Lee Cronin (The Hole in the Ground) to direct the new installment of the Evil Dead franchise. The titled had been revealed by Bruce Campbell,  who became famous for his role as Ash Williams in the franchise, as Evil Dead Now.

It seems there has been a change, according to Campbell in a recent discussion to Diabolique, the new name is Evil Dead Rise.

The official name is Evil Dead Rise. We’re getting a new draft in,” Campbell states. “I don’t think anything will happen until 2021. Full bore ahead, we’re very excited about it. A whole new ballgame. No more cabin in the woods.”

Hopefully, the cast and more details will be announced soon.
