The franchise’s Robert Kulzer returns as producer along with Hartley Gorenstein, and James Harris of Tea Shop Productions. Constantin’s CEO Martin Moszowicz and Davis Films’ VictorHadida will executive produce.
The previous six film of the movie franchise, which began in 2002, were both written and directed by Paul W.S. Anderson and starred Milla Jovovich in the lead role of Alice, a woman who wakes up inside a secret facility known as “The Hive” where the staff of the facility, run by the Umbrella Corporation, have turned into flesh-eating monsters. It’s up to Alice, who is suffering from amnesia, and a military unit to shut down the computer (The Red Queen), stop the creatures, and to find away to survive.
