Back in October of 2020, we reported the sudden and surprising shut down of the streaming network Quibi after less than a year of operation. Subscribes were upset by the loss of Quibi’s original series and were left wondering if they’d ever get to see them again.

News has come this morning via Variety that Roku is now in negotiations to acquire the service’s original library. If the deal goes through Roku will add the short-form programming to their ever-expanding service.

There is no word yet exactly which programs Roku will be getting but some of the series we are hoping to see are Sam Raimi’s “50 States of Fright,” “Don’t Look Deeper, “Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue“, the rideshare horror “The Stranger“, “Most Dangerous Game” (Liam Hemsworth and Christoph Waltz), the dark comedy “Flipped” (Will Forte and Kaitlin Olson), and the plane-crash series “Survive” (Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins).

We’ll keep you posted.
