Season four of Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things” is now in production. A new batch of images has surfaced and appear to confirm the return of a major character from season one, Bremmer.

In the photos posted on the Instagram account of Stranger Things 4 Updates, actor Matthew Modine can be seen on the set. While he could be just featured in Eleven’s flashbacks or something, we don’t know yet. But Modine did tease back in 2019 that the character may be returning.

At the moment no plot details have been revealed for this season of “Stranger Things,” but we do know that Hooper is imprisoned by the Russians and that things will be complicated now that Joyce, Will, Jonathan, and Eleven have moved away from Hawkins.

Modine plays the role of Dr. Bremmer, a highly manipulative, ruthless, and cruel director and researcher for Hawkins National Laboratory who held Eleven prisoner for much of her childhood to study her psychokinetic abilities.
