In the 2016 original a virus breaks out in South Korea. Survivors aboard a train from Seoul to Busan fight to survive the hungry undead. Directed by Sang-HO Yeon, the movie spawned both a sequel, titled Peninsula and an animated prequel.
Horror-heavy hitter Gary Dauberman is adapting the screenplay as well as producing along with Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Nicola Atlan and Terry Kalagian of Gaumont. Christophe Riandee, Judson Scott, Johanna Byer, and Sidone Dumas are serving as executive producers.
