A new series adaptation of Stephen King‘s story Jerusalem’s Lot is coming to Epix and we’ve got the new spooky AF poster above).

The ten-episode series, titled “Chapelwaite” will star Oscar-winner Adrien Brody (The Pianist, “Peaky Blinders”) and “Schitt’s Creek” actress Emily Hampshire. Hampshire stars as Rebecca Morgan, an ambitious young woman who left the town of Preacher’s Corners to attend college. When she returns home to write a story for the prestigious Atlantic Magazine she finds herself with writer’s block that lifts when Boone (Brody) comes to town along with his children. Ignoring her mother’s protests she applies to be the governess of the Chapelwaite manor for the Boone family. There she not only writes a great gothic novel, but she also begins to unravel a mystery that has plagued her family and his for years.

Flatliners and Salem’s Lot writer Peter Filardi is writing the series along with his brother Jason Filardi (Bringing Down the House). They will also serve as showrunners and executive produce along with Donald De Line. Production began in April in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Odds are, we’ll see the series premiere sometime in early 2022 and we can’t wait!
