The second series spin-off of Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement‘s 2014 vampire mockumentary What We Do in the Shadows, “Wellington Paranormal” is coming to the CW and HBO Max!

Wellington Paranormal” stars Karen O’Leary and Mike Minogue reprise their roles from the film as two members of the Wellington, New Zealand, constabulary’s paranormal unit. Led by Sargent Maaka (Maaka Pohatu), the unit investigates supernatural occurrences in the city.

The premiere date has yet to be announced, but we do know that each episode will first air on the CW then air on HBO Max the next day.

The series made its debut in New Zealand back in 2018 where it is currently in its third season.

Clement and Waititi created the series and executive produce along with Paul Yates, THR reports. The series is produced by the New Zealand Documentary Board.
