We’ve got the new release date and plot for Johannes Robert‘s upcoming reboot Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City which is meant to kick off a new franchise.
“Once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, the townspeople are forever…changed…and a small group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.”
Kaya Scodelario (Crawl) stars as Claire Redfield with Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man and the Wasp) playing Jill Valentine, Tom Hopper (“The Umbrella Academy”) as Albert Wesker, Robbie Amell (Upload) as Chris Redfield, Avan Jogia (Zombieland: Double Tap) as Leon S. Kennedy, and Neal McDonough (“Yellowstone“) playing William Birkin, with Donal Logue (Silent Night) playing Chief Irons.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will be released in theaters nationwide on November 24, 2021.
