I want to give a big thank you to 6 Dollar Shirts for making this review possible! Have you ever seen a shirt and liked the art or message but were hesitant to get it because buying it would affect your spending budget? Well, there’s a site where you can find a shirt that expresses your thoughts OR show your love towards a show, movie, or other pop culture references for a decent price. Let me introduce you to 6 Dollar Shirts.
6 Dollar Shirts sells t-shirts for $6 (hence the name), but they also have other shirts that cost a little more, but you can also have the design you like to put on other things besides t-shirts such as hoodies, tank tops, etc. With all the designs based on many topics, of course, I found some horror ones to try out!
What I like about the shirts is that they are really good conversation starters as the shirts are either inspired or make references to things not many would know or understand, and that’s what I love about the ones I got, as well as the others on the site.

The one shirt I got, I love 19th-century writing and really enjoyed Bram Stoker’s Dracula, I got myself the “Bat Noir” shirt, which the art parodies the poster for the Le Chat Noir cabaret club by Theophile Steinlen.

For the witchy book worm in your life or just someone who likes books or anthropomorphic animals, there’s the shirt called “Book Phillip” a play on Black Phillip, the goat from The VVitch whose famous line “wouldst thou like to live deliciously?” is the same but with the last two words changed to “read voraciously?”.

And finally, the one shirt that actually made me giggle when I saw it, the “Captain Howdy”. Simply a picture of the statue of Pazuzu looking like he’s waving and saying “Howdy!”, a playful reference to Linda Blair’s ghostly friend Captain Howdy, who is really the ancient demon.
Surprisingly for only being $6 the shirts are well made, the screenprinting is up there with any brand names, the shirts themselves are comfortable and fit well with whatever size you desire. If you’re someone on a budget but want awesome shirts, 6 Dollar Shirts is a site you should have saved to your browser!
