SyFy announced today that Alex Vincent is returning to his role as Andy Barclay for Don Mancini‘s upcoming “Chucky” series, but he’s not alone, Christine Elise McCarthy, who played Andy’s foster sister in two of the movies, will be facing Chucky again. The two join the cast that also includes returning cast members Brad Dourif (the voice of Chucky), as well as his daughter Fiona Dourif, and Jennifer Tilly who has long played Chucky’s love interest.

“Arrow” actress Lexa Doig is also set to star with Teo Briones (Ratched), Bjorgvin Arnarson (PEN15), and Alyvia Alyn Lind (The Young and the Restless) playing the series’ young leads along with Zackary Arthur.

In the 10-episode first season,  “A vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, and an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”

Don Mancini will serve as the show’s writer, showrunner, director, and executive produce. David Kirschner (Hocus Pocus, Frailty), Nick Antosca (Hulu’s The Act, SYFY’s Channel Zero), and Harley Peyton (Twin Peaks, SYFY’s Channel Zero) will executive produce. UCP will produce.

Premiering this Fall, “Chucky” will air on both the SyFy Channel and USA.
