The horror film The Retaliators not only stars some of the biggest bands in rock, but they are also featured on the soundtrack with new songs from the likes of Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Bad Wolves, Escape The Fate, and more!
Better Noise Entertainment, announced that principal photography has officially wrapped on the upcoming horror-thriller starring Michael Lombardi (“Rescue Me”), Marc Menchaca (“Ozark”), and Joseph Gatt (“Game of Thrones”).
Directed by Bridget Smith and Samuel Gonzalez, Jr., the screenplay was written by Darren Geare and Jeff Allen Geare. It was also announced today that Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, the Emmy-winning composers behind the acclaimed music of Netflix’s hit “Stranger Things,” have written the original score for the film. And editor Randy Bricker (Texas Chainsaw Massacre [2013], I Am Legend) has joined the project.
Other recently announced cast and crew members include actors Robert Knepper (The Hunger Games, “Prison Break”), Robert John Burke (“Law & Order: SVU”); Emmy-nominated sound designer and frequent Quentin Tarantino collaborator Harry Cohen (Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2); Emmy-winning sound mixer Gary Bourgeois (Captain America, Fantastic 4); and colorist Trent Johnson (Ted 2, Race To Witch Mountain).

Five Finger Death Punch, Tommy Lee, Papa Roach, The Hu, Ice Nine Kills, Escape The Fate are just some of the music superstars who appear in cameos onscreen in the film and are featured on the film’s rock-heavy original soundtrack. The soundtrack has already spawned hits, including Papa Roach’s recent #1 active rock radio single The Ending” (Remastered), Escape The Fate’s high-energy collaboration with Lindsey Stirling “Invincible,” Bad Wolves’ “Learn to Walk Again,” From Ashes to New’s “Scars That I’m Hiding (feat. Anders Fridén of In Flames,)” and The HU’s “Wolf Totem (feat. Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach,)”.
The most recent offering from the soundtrack came just last week with the release of All Good Things’ smash viral anthem “For The Glory,” a global hit with over 100M streams worldwide, now featuring Hollywood Undead. The full soundtrack will be released later this year via Better Noise Music, Billboard’s #1 rock label of 2020.
Better Noise Films’ recent successes include Netflix’s The Dirt, the Mötley Crüe biopic produced by Allen Kovac, which premiered to millions on the streaming service in 2019.
Principle photography for the film has now officially wrapped and a release date should be announced soon.
