Epix has just announced their new original horror series “From,” created by John Griffin (Crater). According to Deadline, “From” unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town in middle America that traps all those who enter. As the unwilling residents fight to keep a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest – including the terrifying creatures that come out when the sun goes down.”
From will deliver suspense, terror and cliffhanger moments, all while telling a truly engaging story with rich characters,” said EPIX’s Michael Wright. “We’re thrilled to be working with John Griffin and this talented creative team to bring the series to our audience.”
Jack Bender (“Mr. Mercedes”) will be directing the first four episodes of the ten-episode first season series from Epix Studios and MGM International Television Productions. Midnight Radio and Joe Russo, and Anthony Russo of AGBO are producing.
Epix has also struck an eight-picture deal with Blumhouse with the first films already being announced, including American Refugee, and House on the Bayou.
