Feardemic and Twisted II Studios today have announced that they have reached an agreement where Feardemic will be publishing the highly anticipated first-person psychological horror game Dark Fracture to PC and consoles in 2022.
Dark Fracture follows Edward, an employee of a body farm in the late ’90s who is suffering from a traumatic past that begins to interfere with his daily activities as the simmering troubles inside him begin to manifest.
Players will have to navigate the body farm and dark parallel world inspired by the works of Zdzisław Beksiński and H.R. Giger while trying to determine who or what is real and who of Edward’s coworkers can be trusted all the while trying to solve the mystery of Edward’s psyche.
Dark Fracture combines survival horror elements with physics-based puzzles as well as a decision-making mechanic that will determine Edward’s fate in the story. Procedurally Generated Paranormal Events will affect Edward’s sanity (meter) and can occur at any time without warning.
Dark Fracture will be coming both digitally and physically to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch in 2022. PC players can play the free demo titled Dark Fracture – Prologue on Steam.
