This October, Don Mancini’s new “Chucky” series is set to premiere on both SYFY and USA this Fall. News has come that the series has now officially wrapped production and to celebrate, a new teaser and poster were unleashed.
The teaser begins with Chucky reminding us that he’s our “friend to the end.”. None other than Brad Dourif, who has long voiced the doll, returns as the voice of the killer possessed doll in “Chucky”.

The poster has a distinct feel similar to that of the original film. On it are the same words he spoke in the teaser.
In the 10-episode first season, “After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.”
Dourif returns along with franchise stars Jennifer Tilly who is back as Tiffany, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, and Christine Elise as Kyle. Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Hunter Hunter), “Arrow” actress Lexa Doig, Teo Briones (“Ratched”), Bjorgvin Arnarson (“PEN15”), and Alyvia Alyn Lind (“The Young and the Restless”), and Zackary Arthur have joined the cast.
Don Mancini, who serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, directs the premiere episode. Other directors for the series include Dermott Downs (“Doom Patrol”), Samir Rahem (“The Chi”), Leslie Libman (“Alphas”), and Jeff Renfroe (The Colony). David Kirschner (Hocus Pocus, Frailty), Nick Antosca (Hulu’s The Act, SYFY’s “Channel Zero”), and Harley Peyton (“Twin Peaks”, SYFY’s “Channel Zero”) will executive produce.
Described as a “fresh take on the franchise,” “Chucky” premieres on SYFY and USA on October 21, 2021, at 10 pm.
