One of the most highly anticipated horror films of the year, Halloween Kills will be here before you know it, on October 15, 2021, in both theaters and streaming exclusively on Peacock as part of the service’s Halloween lineup. To celebrate, a brand new trailer has arrived and it looks good as hell.
In the movie, minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.
But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
David Gordan Green‘s Halloween Kills has a huge returning cast that includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Robert Longstreet, and original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers who will be reprising his roles as Sheriff Leigh Brackett. Kyle Richards and Nancy Stephens will also be back. Anthony Michael Hall stars as Tommy Doyle. Green co-wrote the script along with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
Michael comes home on October 15th.
