The “I Know What You Did Last Summer” series adaptation, a modern take on both the 1997 film and the novel by Lois Duncan, premiered in October. The question is, will we get a second season? The answer is no, the show will not be renewed by Prime Video after getting mixed reviews.
The series had the same premise as the movie, a group of teens is stalked by a mysterious killer after a fatal accident on graduation night.

The series is produced by Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television. Sara Goodman will write as well executive produce along with Shay Hatten, Pavan Shetty, Michael Clear, and Atomic Monster’s James Wan, Rob Hackett, and Neal Moritz of Original Film.
