Actor Corey Feldman has appeared in many iconic films, including The Lost Boys franchise, The Goonies, Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, and Stand By Me. Over the past couple of decades he’s also tried to launch a singing career, but not with much success. He recently released a new music video that has fans a bit concerned.
Titled “Comeback King” and featuring Curtis Young, the video sees Feldman singing, rapping, and dancing in a Michael Jackson-style way. But that’s not what has people worried. It’s that music video is so terrible, yet Feldman is promoting the hell out of it. People have long questioned his judgment and lifestyle, but the video gives the impression that something is going on with the once-popular actor.
Not all of the responses to the “Comeback King” have been out of concern. Some people are giving hostile responses, angry over what they say is an attempt to cash in on his past, some calling it an “insult to abuse survivors.” Many people are just calling the music video bad, and I have to agree with them. The dancing alone is cringeworthy.
The troubled star has long has faced mental health issues, announcing in 2017 the name of one of the men that he and his friend Corey Haim had been sexually abused by as children. Corey Haim died in 2010 from pneumonia, but Feldman claims he was murdered by people involved in the abuse conspiracy. Feldman has since made a documentary and made several appearances, demanding justice for the abuse they suffered and warning parents about the sexual abuse that happens to child stars.
