The new, haunting trailer for the Sam Raimi-produced horror Umma is here and it’s creepy AF, warning of the dangers of becoming your mother.

Umma follows Sandra Oh‘s Amanda and her daughter (Fivel Stewart) live a quiet life on an American farm, but when the remains of Amanda’s mother arrive from Korea, Amanda becomes haunted by the fear of turning into her mother.

Dermot Mulroney, MeeWha Alana Lee, Odeya Rush, and Tom Yi co-star in the film written and directed by Iris K. Shim and executive produced by André Øvredal (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark).

Umma opens in theaters on March 18, 2022, followed by a VOD release a few weeks later, from Sony Pictures.
