Paramount is taking us back to Sleepy Hollow for a brand new take on the legendary story of the Headless Horseman.
Lindsey Beer, hot off the heels of writing and directing the soon-to-be-released prequel to Stephen King’s Pet Sematary, is set to write and direct. Beer will also produce the new Sleepy Hollow reboot along with Todd Graner and Spencer Walken of Broken Road Productions.
The Headless Horseman was initially born in the Washington Irving story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” published in 1819. In 1999 Tim Burton brought the tale to the big screen, starring Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, and Christopher Walken as the horseman.
