While you still may be sweating like a sinner in church when you step outside, there are only 13 weeks till Christmas so it’s no surprise the holiday horror films have begun to be announced, including the killer Christmas tree horror The Killing Tree whose Red Band trailer has just been gifted to us by Uncork’d Entertainment.
In the film, “On Christmas Eve, a scorn widow casts an ancient spell to resurrect her executed husband. However, when the spell goes wrong, the husband is brought back as an Evil Christmas Tree. Hell-bent on getting revenge on the one who caused his execution, the body count keeps rising as the Tree hunts her down. Can anyone stop this killer Christmas tree before he gets to his target?”
Rhys Frake-Waterfield who is also behind the highly anticipated upcoming horror Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, is in the director’s chair for The Killing Tree which stars Sarah Alexandra Marks, Marcus Massey, Judy Tcherniak, Sarah T. Cohen, Kelly Rian Sanson, Ella Starbuck, Lauren Staerck, May Kelly, Nikolai Leon, Richard Harfst, and Gillian Broderick star.
