New episodes of HBO Max‘s hit series “The Last of Us” normally premiere every Sunday night. However, the “Super Bowl” will take over TV this Sunday. Don’t worry. HBO will still give you a new episode of “The Last of Us,” but on a different night. “The Last of Us” Episode 5 will air early this Friday, February 10th, at 9 pm EST!

If you miss the new episode, you watch it again on Sunday at its regular time, 9 pm. The show will return to its regular schedule the following Sunday.

Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”) stars as Joel. Bella Ramsey (“Game of Thrones”) plays playing Ellie. Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate) plays Tommy, the brother of Pascal’s Joel. Storm Reid, Anna Torv, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Nick Offerman, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, and Con O’Neil co-star in the series.

“The series is set twenty years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.”

Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”) developed the series for HBO as well as wrote the series adaptation along with Neil Druckmann.
