The indie horror game Iron Lung is getting a feature film adaptation from YouTube’s content creator Markiplier, whose real name is Mark Fischbach. He penned the script and will direct as well as star in the film alongside Caroline Rose Kaplan (The Plot Against America, “Orange is the New Black”).
David Szymanski created the game released in 2022 in which the player controls an unnamed convict who explores an ocean of blood on a desolate moon in a rusty submarine nicknamed the “Iron Lung.”
The YouTube star is also producing the film alongside Will Hyde and Jeff Guerrero.
The first teaser trailer has now debuted (below) for the film adaptation of Iron Lung, which is currently in production.
