Thanks to popular shows like Stranger Things, tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons are becoming more popular with newer players and reigniting the passionate flame within old fans who were once made to give it up. But like a good RPG story, the adventure has to start somewhere. With many sites and stores dedicated to tabletop gaming supplies, where should a new adventurer go? This is where Misty Mountain Gaming comes in! I want to give a big thank you to Sophii and the rest of the awesome folks over at Misty Mountain for helping to make this review possible!
Misty Mountain sent over the Mystery Sling Bag Bundle, the price may be shocking but it’s worth it if you want to start off your new gaming life or you want to improve it and wow your friends at the next session! you get a total of 35 dice that are randomly selected, three sets of acrylic dice, an all-metal dice set, and a set of hollow metal dice. Included in the bundle are randomly selected items, for mine it was a dice tray with the Valknut etched on it, along with a scorpion/resin necklace (that glows in the dark). Of course, the main attraction of the bundle is the leather sling bag to hold all your adventuring gear (for tabletop sessions)! The bag is also a great accessory for cosplaying at the next convention you’re going to as there’s plenty of space for your essentials while staying in character!
One of the big reasons why I like Misty Mountain Gaming is that the site is friendly to both new and old players of the tabletop genre with guides that help explain dice materials and the pros and cons of each one, helping you decide the kind of dice you want to have to start your adventures as well as many other helpful pages to teach you about the dice that some sites/stores lack, and that includes Lifetime Warranties, which if you’re willing to spend on some fancy dice you would hope there’s some kind of warranty.
Overall, whether you are a serious RPG player, a noob, a returning player, or a dice collector (yes I’ve found out those exist), out of many dice store sites I’ve looked into, Misty Mountain Gaming is the best place to start your adventure!
