Just weeks after its premiere in theaters, A24 has announced that directors Danny and Michael Philippou’s horror film Talk To Me is getting a sequel, with both directors returning for the movie written by Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman. Watch the announcement below.
Talk To Me continues to set new records at box offices, with the film’s opening weekend being the second biggest opening in A24 history.
Starring Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Otis Dhanji, Joe Bird, and Zoe Terakes, the hit movie centers on a bereaved teenager who joins her group of friends in playing a game with an embalmed hand that opens up a door to the other side during a party, unleashing terrifying supernatural force.
The film joins A24 horror franchises like Ti West’s X trilogy, with the upcoming film MaXXXine starring Mia Goth, Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
We’ll keep you posted. In the meantime, check out Talk To Me now in theaters.
