While Apple TV+ doesn’t go big for Halloween, there are some premieres this October that should be on your radar.

One movie premiere that you don’t want to miss this month is Martin Scorsese‘s true crime inspired film Killer of the Flower Moon, starring Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Based on David Grann’s best-selling book Killer of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. The book and film are based on the true tragic Osage Indian murders in Oklahoma between 1910 and 1930. More than sixty wealthy Osage Native Americans lost their lives. The motive was greed over mineral rights. You can learn more about the true story by visiting the official Osage Nation website.

The film premieres on October 20th following its theatrical debut on October 6th.
