The first look at the new “Waking Dead” spin-off series “The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” has arrived, teasing a reunion of the beloved characters Rick Grimes (Andre Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira).

“The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” explores the epic love story of two characters changed and kept apart by a new world. “Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead … And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they’ve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive — or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?”

Lincoln left the original series in 2018 to focus on his family, and Gurira left the following year during Season 10. The two did make a cameo in the 2022 season finale, leaving fans wondering if they would ever reunite. Now, it appears that they finally are.

The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live” is set to premiere on AMC on February 25, 2024. Are you excited to see the world of “The Walking Dead” continue? Are you cheering for Rick and Michonne? Let us know in the comments.
