Part dark comedy, part revenge thriller, the horror film Sheryl is set to open in theaters this December as part of the Dances With Films Film Festival from writer-director-producer Justin Best. Ahead of its debut, the trailer has arrived, teasing an action-filled film. Check it out below.
In the film, “after she’s dumped by her verbally abusive serial killer boyfriend for not being “hot enough,” a beauty-obsessed woman goes on a blood-soaked quest to create the perfect face while navigating her new relationship with the cop investigating the murders.”
Based on the Award Winning short film FACE ON, and comparable to Barbie meets American Psycho, the film stars Anthea Neri Best (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Tacoma FD”), Shaan Sharma (“The Chosen,” “9-1-1 Lone Star), Christopher Cendana (“Good Trouble,” “Lucifer”, “How To Get Away With Murder”), Jade Ramirez ( “Grand Hotel”), Chelsea Spirito (A Tight Ten, “The Metal Detective”), Joseph Ruud (“WWE Raw,” Ghost of the Ozarks), Elise Robertson (American Sniper).
