Absolutely brutal is the best way to describe The Seeding, writer-director Barnaby Clay’s feature horror debut. While Clay is a relative newcomer to the horror genre, he brings a wealth of experience from the world of music videos and documentaries. That’s evident in The Seeding’s unique, stunning visual style and well-crafted, unsettling atmosphere.
In The Seeding
In the film, a man, a lone hiker, enters the desert to film an eclipse. He becomes lost and dehydrated in the unforgiving desert. He finds hope when he stumbles upon his possible salvation. At the bottom of a creator sits a small cabin inhabited by a mysterious woman who welcomes him in. What starts as a desperate plea for help soon becomes a chilling fight for survival in the hot, unforgiving desert sun.
This tension-filled film stars the acclaimed actors Scott Haze (Venom, Jurassic World: Dominion) and Kate Lyn Sheil (You’re Next, V/H/S). Both give fantastic, chilling performances.
