Get ready for a fresh take on the werewolf mythos in Byte. The trailer for the brand-new hair-raising horror thriller is here. Following a successful world premiere at the HorrorHound Film Festival, Byte will be out on streaming platforms on April 18th. The same day as a special theatrical screening in Cleveland, Ohio—the film’s hometown.

An APP Gone Wrong

Tailor-made for today’s Gen Z audience, the movie centers around a group of college friends. One of them stumbles upon a mysterious phone app. It promises something dark and thrilling—the ability to transform into a werewolf. As a wave of violent attacks sweeps the city, the friends must grapple with the horrifying consequences and the primal urges it unleashes. As well as fight to survive.

Behind the Scenes

Byte boasts a rising cast that includes Kayden Bryce, Marshall Vargas, Carlie Allen, and Stephen Nicholas Knight. Eddie Lengyel, known for Mother Krampus 2 and American Poltergeist: The Curse of Lilith Ratchet, directed and produced the film.

“We believe our concept of technology meeting werewolves is something audiences will really dig,” says Executive Producer Jeff Miller, known for his work on “Ouija House.” “It’s the perfect horror film for a night in – grab some snacks, settle down, and prepare to be entertained!”

Byte is a co-production between Millman Productions, Fright Teck Pictures, and Ron Lee Productions.
