Writer-director Bryan Fuller and star Mads Mikkelsen, who worked together on the fantastic series “Hannibal,” are reteaming for the horror movie Dust Bunny.

The cast features horror icons, including David Dastmalchian, who stars in the newly released hit Late Night with the Devil. Mikkelson and Dastmalchain are joined by Sigourney Weaver of Ghostbusters and Alien fame. Sheila Atim (The Woman King) and Rebecca Henderson of “Westworld” round out the cast.

The movie, a throwback to the family horror films of the 1980s, tells the story of an eight-year-old girl who enlists the help of her neighbor to kill the monster under her bed.

Fuller will co-produce Dust Bunny with Entertainment One, Thunder Road, and Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. In addition to “Hannibal,” Fuller has an impressive history, being behind series such as “American Gods,” “Star Trek: Discovery,” “Dead Like Me,” and “Pushing Up Daisies.”

Dust Bunny was first announced early last year when it entered production. While the release date has not been announced, it may be released later this year. With such a talented director and an impressive cast, Dust Bunny is poised to be a terror-filled, killer movie. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait!
