Enter Javi ( Golden Globe nominee Anthony Ramos, In the Heights), Kate’s old friend. He lures her back to the open plains to test a new storm-tracking system. While there, Kate crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Glen Powell, Top Gun: Maverick), a charismatic but reckless social media star who thrives on chasing the most dangerous storms for online clout.
As storm season hits peak intensity, terrifying weather phenomena unlike anything ever seen before are unleashed. Kate, Tyler, and their teams find themselves in the path of multiple converging storms over Oklahoma, facing the fight of their lives.
The supporting cast includes Brandon Perea (Nope), Sasha Lane (American Honey), Daryl McCormack (“Peaky Blinders”), and Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina). Nik Dodani (Atypical) and Golden Globe winner Maura Tierney (Beautiful Boy) round out the ensemble.
