Abigail, from the acclaimed horror film from the directing team Radio Silence (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett), premieres exclusively on Peacock’s streaming service. We’ve gotten our claws on three new clips to celebrate its release.
Radio Silence, known for their terrifying modern horror hits Ready or Not, Scream and Scream VI, brings their signature blend of horror and humor to Abigail.
Fresh off her role in Scream VI, Melissa Barrera leads the charge. She’s joined by the ever-popular Kathryn Newton, known for her roles in Freaky and Lisa Frankenstein.
The impressive cast also includes Dan Stevens (“Godzilla vs. Kong”), Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad”), and rising stars like Alisha Weir (“Roald Dahl’s Matilda”), Kevin Durand (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), and the late Angus Cloud (“Euphoria”). William Catlett (“Lovecraft Country”) rounds out this talented ensemble.
The story follows a daring heist team tasked with a seemingly straightforward job: guard a child, Abigail, for one night and collect a hefty ransom. However, as the night unfolds, things take a horrifying turn. The captors begin to disappear, and a terrifying truth emerges – Abigail is anything but an ordinary kid.
Mark your calendars for July 19th and head to Peacock to sink your teeth into Abigail (review). Peacock is also exclusively streaming other new horror favorites, including Lisa Frankenstein, Night Swim, and the unrated version of M3GAN.
