Uncork’d Entertainment is set to release The Well this August. This gothic horror, directed by Italian pop star Federico Zampaglione (Shadow, Tulpa: Demon of Desire), promises a stunning and chilling tale filled with gore and practical effects.

The Well stars Lauren LaVera, best known for her role as the final girl in Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3. Claudia Gerini (John Wick: Chapter 2), Giovanni Lombardo Radice (City of the Living Dead), and Taylor Zaudtke also star.

The film follows Lisa (LaVera), a young American art restorer and artist. She has traveled to an Italian village to restore a medieval painting. There, she encounters an aging duchess and her troubled daughter. Soon, the daughter issues a warning that the painting has a sinister curse. As the story unfolds, Lisa finds herself trapped in a brutal battle for survival.

The Well has already garnered attention, having been selected as an official entry at the prestigious Sitges Film Festival. Prepare to be immersed in a world of darkness and suspense. The Well arrives in select theaters on August 9th, 2024, followed by a digital and on-demand on September 3rd.
