Shudder, the premium streaming service for horror, thrillers, and the supernatural, has released the trailer for its upcoming docuseries, “Horror’s Greatest.”
Prepare to dive deep into the genre with an impressive lineup of horror experts, including David Dastmalchian, Joe Hill, Tom Holland, Jenn Wexler, Dewayne Perkins, Jonah Ray Rodrigues, Gigi Saul Guerrero, Alex Winter, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Tananarive Due, and The Boulet Brothers.
The series explores every facet of the horror landscape, from classic horror to hidden gems. Through interviews and expert analysis, the show examines the appeal of horror tropes, the genre’s evolution, and the horror’s impact on audiences. A gallery of ghoulish pros, actors, directors, writers, composers, and special effects artists draw on their knowledge to answer the big questions. Marwar Junction Productions, the team behind Shudder’s hit series “The 101 Scariest Horror Movie Moments of All Time,” produces. “Horror’s Greatest” is executive produced by showrunner Kurt Sayenga, as well as Joseph Freed and Allison Berkley for Marwar Junction Productions.
