Ruby Rose, best known for her role as Stella Carlin in “Orange Is the New Black,” will lead the cast of the upcoming movie The Drowning Pool, a chilling new horror thriller from Saw V director David Hackl.
Set in the stunning Canary Islands, The Drowning Pool centers around Katherine. Katherine is a grieving sister searching for answers to her sibling’s mysterious disappearance. Katherine’s sister is presumed drowned, but she refuses to leave the country without answers. As she investigates, she discovers that Isabelle isn’t the only woman to vanish without a trace. Katherine uncovers terrifying clues, leading her right into the clutches of an ancient, ritualistic evil.

In addition to her role in “Orange Is the New Black,” Ruby Rose has also starred in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, XXX: Return of Xander Cage, John Wick: Chapter 2, The Meg, and series like “The Flash” and “Arrow.” She also played the lead role in the first season of “Batwoman.”
