BayView Entertainment, Summer Hill Films, and TomCat Films have announced the September digital release of the chilling horror film Inherit the Witch.
The film follows the fractured remnants of a family as they gather for the patriarch’s funeral, held at an isolated house nestled deep within the New Forest – a region steeped in the history of witchcraft. Thirty years after celebrating the 14th birthday of twins Cory and Jessie, the surviving siblings reunite under unsettling circumstances. Secrets unravel as they discover a horrifying truth – their family’s wealth and power are built upon a dark occult pact with an ancient evil.
Written, directed, and starring Cradeaux Alexander, Inherit the Witch blends psychological horror with supernatural thrills. Its narrative centers on LGBTQ+ characters played by Rohan Quine, Heather Cairns, and Christopher Sherwood.
The captivating soundtrack by French composer François Evans adds to the film’s chilling atmosphere. Merging traditional and contemporary sounds, the music is a unique and unsettling element that complements the film’s dark themes.
Inherit the Witch will be available to stream and download on digital platforms in the US starting September 24th. Fans can explore the film’s beguiling soundtrack at lamprecordings.com.
