In August, we reported that RLJE Films and Shudder had won the rights to the horror film Little Bites. Today, we’ve gotten our claws on the first trailer, which is bloody, brutal, and creepy as hell. It gives us a first glimpse of how far a mother will go to protect her child, even if it means feeding a monster.
Written and directed by Spider One (ALLEGORIA), the film stars Krsy Fox, Elizabeth Caro, Jon Sklaroff, and Chaz Bono. It also features horror icons Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street), and Bonnie Aarons (The Nun). Executive producers include Cher, Chaz Bono, Tyler Connolly, Ian Hoge, and Wendy Berry.
Little Bites centers on Mindy, a young widow and mother who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice from the grips of a fiendish, flesh-eating monster named Agyar who hides in the shadows. Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps her daughter Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s home. Motherhood can consume you, and in this film, that is in more ways than one.
