The chilling new poster for the highly anticipated film Nosferatu is here, urging you to succumb to the darkness. It arrives following the recent release of the teaser trailer, which gives us a brief glimpse at Bill Skarsgård (The Crow reboot) as the legendary vampire Count Orlok.

In the film, Lily-Rose Depp‘s Ellen wrestles with anguish as Orlok’s spell pulls her in. She seeks answers from Willem Dafoe‘s Professor Von Franz, but is it too late? Meanwhile, bloodcurdling imagery and a city gripped by fear paint a vivid picture of the horror to come.

Nicholas Hoult plays Ellen’s betrothed, Thomas, who is destined to be the first to encounter the ominous figure. Ralph Ineson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Emma Corrin round out the impressive cast.

In a recent interview, Director Eggers expressed his concern that Skarsgård’s profound transformation might overshadow his acting brilliance. Eggers envisions a portrayal that pays homage to the legendary performances of Max Schreck and Klaus Kinski while carving its unique path in cinema history.

Nosferatu marks the continuation of the successful partnership between Focus Features and Eggers. This duo previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed The Northman (2022), starring Skarsgård’s brother Alexander. The project reunites Eggers with celebrated producer Chris Columbus.

Prepare for a chillingly gothic holiday season as Nosferatu descends upon theaters on December 25, 2024.
