A modern reimagining of James O’Barr‘s iconic graphic novel, The Crow, prepares to take audiences on a visually stunning and emotionally charged journey this June. Today, the first trailer has been unleashed, giving us our first glimpse of the action. And it looks good!

Directed by Rupert Sanders (Snow White and the Huntsman) and written by Zach Baylin and William Schneider, the film promises to honor the spirit of the original while offering a fresh perspective for new generations.

A Tale of Eternal Love and Unrelenting Revenge

The Crow centers on Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård, IT, Nosferatu) and his soulmate, Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs). Their lives are tragically cut short by a brutal act of violence. Eric returns and is transformed into The Crow, a vengeful entity that transcends the boundaries between the living and the dead. On an unwavering mission for justice, he takes aim at their killers.

Skarsgård and Twigs star alongside a talented supporting cast featuring Danny Huston, Laura Birn, Jordan Bolger, Isabella Wei, and Sami Bouajila.

An Unforgettable Experience

The Crow will land in theaters nationwide on June 7, 2024. With its blend of action, romance, and dark fantasy, the film offers audiences a unique opportunity to experience this iconic story in a new and captivating way.

Just an Opinion

I saw the original movie in the theaters when it premiered and was quickly borderline obsessed. I have been a huge fan from day one. Like a lot of you, I find it hard to see anyone as Eric Draven besides Bradon Lee. However, after watching the trailer, I find myself excited. Skarsgard is a fantastic actor, so I will wait until I see it and can judge it on its own merit. Maybe you can find it in your heart to do the same.
