Alexandre Aja is a name familiar to horror fans. He’s the director behind films like High Tenson, The Hills Have Eyes, and Crawl. Now he has taken on the tale of a mother (Hale Berry) desperate to protect her sons from evil in Never Let Go.
In the film, as evil takes over the world beyond their front doorstep. The only protection for a mother (Berry) and her two sons is their home, their family’s bond, and a chant echoed in the new trailer. Needing to stay connected, they tether themselves to their home with ropes and cling to one another, urging each other to “never let go.”

I had the pleasure of interviewing Alexandre Aja about the horrors that await viewers in Never Let Go. During our interview, he pointed out that the film, which will stick with you long after the credits roll, is more about the characters than the scares, though he promises plenty of those, too.

The film is also a kind of a coming-of-age story about two boys played by Anthony B. Jenkins and Percy Daggs IV. So, what’s it like to be a kid in a horror movie? The two talented young actors answered that and more in our interview.
