Following the success of his 2020 Shudder Original Anything for Jackson, director Justin Dyck, whom we interviewed about the movie, is back. He is set to unleash the new horror film William, a collaboration with Chris Sivertson (Monstrous). The film is an adaptation of Andrew Pyper’s novel of the same name.

Described as a “contained sci-fi horror film that blends the worlds of Ex Machina and The Amityville Horror,” William centers on Henry. Henry is a brilliant engineer named William who created an artificially intelligent consciousness. Agoraphobic and obsessed with his project, Henry keeps William hidden in his attic, away from his pregnant wife, Lily. When Lily’s coworkers visit, Henry introduces them to William. This leads to them being trapped inside the house, turning it into a deadly prison.

William isn’t Justin Dyck’s only upcoming movie. He is also in pre-production on The Casket Girls, another horror movie. Watch Anything for Jackson now on Shudder.
