Kevin Bacon and His Family Team Up for the Horror Comedy ‘Family Movie’



The Bacon family, Kevin Bacon, Kyra Sedgwick, and their children, Travis and Sosie Bacon, are teaming up for an upcoming horror film, Family Movie. Kevin and Sedgwick will also co-direct the movie. Dan Beers co-wrote the horror comedy about a family of filmmakers who discover a dead body on their set.

The family is no stranger to the horror genre, with Kevin Bacon starring in Friday the 13th, the horribly underrated movie Stir of Echoes, Tremors, Hollow Man, and MaXXXIne, to name a few.

Sosie Bacon starred in the horror hit Smile, whose sequel, Smile 2, was recently released in theatres. An actor and composer, Travis Bacon starred in his parents’ film Loverboy. He co-wrote the short Keep Coming Back, which he produced and co-starred with his sister.

Sedgwick is best known for her role in the crime series “The Closer.” She and Kevin have co-starred in films including Murder in the First, The Woodsman, and Loverboy, which Kevin directed.
