Blumhouse’s chilling new horror-thriller, Drop, is set to unleash its terror upon audiences this April. From director Christopher Landon, behind Happy Death Day, comes a suspense-filled nightmare that will make you think twice about your next date.

Drop plunges viewers into the terrifying experience of Violet, a widowed mother venturing back into the dating world. However, her hopes for a pleasant first date quickly shatter when she becomes the target of an anonymous tormentor. This mysterious figure initiates a campaign of psychological terror, sending unsettling messages and issuing increasingly dangerous demands. Violet is trapped in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, where anyone and everyone around her could be the villain.

Last week, the first trailer arrived, teasing edge-of-your-seat film. Today, we’ve got the first look that takes you behind the scenes. Landon discusses Violet, played by Meghann Fahy, and the terrifying figure that stalks her.

Fahy leads a talented cast that includes Brandon Sklenar ( It Ends with Us) and Violett Beane (Truth or Dare). Jacob Robinson, Reed Diamond, Gabrielle Ryan, Jeffery Self, Ed Weeks, and Travis Nelson round out the ensemble.

Drop comes from the creative minds of Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach, the writing duo responsible for Blumhouse’s Truth or Dare. Horror maestro Jason Blum (M3GAN) produces the film for Blumhouse. Michael Bay (A Quiet Place) produces along with Brad Fuller (A Quiet Place) and Cameron Fuller (The Astronaut) for Platinum Dunes.

Mark your calendars: Blumhouse’s Drop opens in theaters on April 11th, following the premiere of Blumhouse’s other upcoming film, The Woman in the Yard. Prepare for a cinematic experience that will leave you breathless and questioning the motives of everyone around you.
