Prepare for a terrifying new horror film, because The Home, from James DeMonaco, the visionary creator behind The Purge franchise and the producer of Halloween, is coming soon!

Directed by DeMonaco and co-written with Adam Cantor, this film promises to twist a seemingly mundane setting into a nightmare.

What’s “The Home” All About?

The story follows a rebellious twenty-something (Pete Davidson) who gets sentenced to community service at what appears to be a quiet retirement home. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. He quickly learns that the residents on the mysterious fourth floor are strictly off-limits, said to require “special care.”

As his suspicions grow and he can’t resist digging deeper, he begins to uncover a truly chilling secret. This discovery puts both the lives of the residents and his own in grave danger. This turns his community service into a fight for survival. If you love a good mystery blended with terrifying revelations, this movie’s for you!

Who’s Starring?

The film features a compelling cast, including Pete Davidson, John Glover, and Bruce Altman. Bill Block and Sebastien K. Lemercier produce.

With DeMonaco at the helm, you can expect The Home to deliver a unique blend of suspense, social commentary, and plenty of unsettling thrills. The Home opens in theaters on July 25, 2025 from Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate.
